Spring Break in Hawaii...........

We Surfed the waves in Hawaii!!!!!!

and brought home some fun souvenirs for our kids!!!
That was the hardest part....I didn't think I'd miss my kids so much! We rushed back and made it just in time for the boys Court of Honor. They received several merit badges and ranked up! We are so proud of them! Good work Boys!!!

The boys stayed home and took charge of the home with
Grandma & Grandpa Pember and Winston taking care of them!
They liked playing Man of the house!

.....and the girls got to stay with their cousins in the valley!!!!!

Thanks to all those who helped care for our children, while we celebrated 10 years of marriage!
You can always tell he is concentrating when the tongue is sticking out!
I beat him up on the surf board!!!!!

While we toured the rain forests of Hawaii......

We got so many fun pictures of what our children were doing, Thanks Sisters!!!!!
Caroline playing with play dough with Brooklyn.

Aunt Satya took the kids to see the Easter Bunny!!! What fun!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Merrill spoiled the girls!!!

Caroline and Meika became the best of friends and got to go to carnivals together.

While we cruised the Island in a convertible!!!!!
Loren loved that!!!

We loved the Luaus!!!!

Loren caught me going back for seconds!!!
I had no kids to feed, I had to take advantage and eat a ton!!!!

We had fun walking along the beach, collecting shells, swimming and snorkling!
We swam with giant sea turtles, whales, etc.....

What an extroardinary adventure!
I honestly didn't plan on surfing, I was too scared of the sharks,
but the "surfer dudes" talked me into it and I had a blast!!!!!!

Thanks to my "surfer dude" for a fabulous time!

Wild, fun and Crazy weekend......stressful? hmmm...

Well, it all ended with Kalicia having a severe asthma attack! I had to run her in on Sunday morning. She was under care for four hours on monitors and oxygen and then they sent her home with oxygen! Yea! That was such a blessing, because her last hospital stay was a week. So now her bedroom looks like a hospital and I am "nurse mom!"
Wait, aren't all moms nurses every day?
At the end of all the celebration, we got to watch them open presents!
The kids thought that was the neatest!
Capri (cousin) found her spot!
They were pretty excited at how well they made out!
The lanterns were a fun decor, but the ones hanging up outside didn't last long!
The wind played games with them!!!!

We had lots of guests, thanks for everyone's support!

Some of our cutest guests!!!!!!

My sisters were such a great help!
I appriciate all they do! I have the best sisters!!!!

Kalicia pretty much just sat in the same place and kept getting more food!
(must be nice to be young and eat 'til your hearts content!!!)
m & m's were her favorite....

Thanks to my husband, who was my right hand man! He is always so willing to help!

Busy all-nighters....getting ready for Keith and Sierra's Open House!

The Final outcome, after hours of
working on our handrail and posts.
After 6 years of being in our home, we decided we needed to finally finish our staircase, especially because we were having a formal event in our home.
After.....
Before.....

Austin loves to perform!
He gets so excited to perform with the Honor Choir. He hopes to make Madrigals and then eventually after his mission, go to EAC and be a part of their music dept.

The girls love playing Tea Party!
They think it's so much fun to have snack time in their bedroom
when Charlotte gets home from Kindergarten.

Happy 6th Birthday Charlotte!!!!!

The traditional ......breakfast with a candle
(english muffin and jelly)
She was so excited!!!!

For the last few months, Charlotte has been telling me she wants a "Spongebob~Kitty Cat Cake"
(what and why? so I put a statue of a kitty on the corner and she loved it!)
She is my little princess girl and still loves princesses, but since she has gone to kindergarten, she has this new fascination with Spongebob.
She took her time and blew out one candle at a time.....

And she loved her new helmet for her new motorized "wheelchair."

......Her new motorized "wheelchair" with her new purple crutches on the back. Doctors keep suggesting we get her an electric wheelchair for when she is outside and in places that it's hard to use her walker.......she refuses to have a wheelchair and I don't blaim her! She loves her new ride though and now she can ride out to the barn, feed the horses and collect the eggs all by herself!!!!
Charlotte got to invite one friend to her birthday dinner, her best friend, AJ, in her kindergaten class. We made personal pizzas and she had a blast!!

Charlotte knew I was making her cake during rest time, she is getting too smart for me, no more sneaking around very easily. She asked if she could lick the batter and icing, how do I tell the birthday girl no! So I let her, she just didn't get to see the cake.

Her friend, Alex, and Kalicia helped!

Chuck E. Cheese ~Does it get better than that! We had time and birthdays to celebrate in between the wedding celebration....So Sharon and I took our Kiddos to have some fun!
Happy 1st birthday Olivia and Happy 6th birthday Charlotte!!!

Waiting for the couple to arrive.........
