More Doctor Appt. Trips to the Valley.......

But....ya gotta make it fun!
We went to the mall with all our cousins and had a great time on the Carousel!
Kalicia

Caroline

Charlotte

They joined the Kids Club at Superstition Mall.

While staying in the Hotel for all our St. Joseph Hospital appointments, Caroline started pulling herself up in the crib for the 1st time! Yea! I was so thrilled. We also got her set up with braces for her legs, so it should help her to start walking. She doesn't have the strength she needs to support her weight.
We also got the results from the MRI, pretty tough to handle, but at least we are starting to get answers. Both Charlotte and Caroline's Cerebelum hasn't developed to it's fullest which causes major obstacles with their motor skills (walking, jumping etc.) Also, the white brain matter is under developed. I truly feel they will overcome their disabilities, but it will take time and a lot of work. They just don't get to do it like everyone else. They have to find new routes in their brains to get where they need to be. They have obstacles before them, but it will only make them stronger and teach their mother patience. I have learned so much from them and have received numerous blessings from their sweet spirits. Both of my daughters have been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsey. It has been hard to accept.
I don't know why, but all will be well!

Happy 2nd Birthday
"Sweet Caroline"!
She was helping me make her cake......
The icing was her favorite part!
My little girl is growing up!
She is so loved by her family!
The day began with her favorite breakfast.
C is for Caroline!
It was hard to celebrate her birthday on Sunday,
so we celebrated it for Home evening the next day.
Our neighbors came for a Birthday BBQ.
My cousin, Winston, was a hit with all the kids.

We have such fun neighbors,
the Johnsons and the Stewarts.
Our kids love having so many friends!

Charlotte and Emily Johnson
(We were so proud of Charlotte at how well she was climbing and keeping up with the other kids)
Caroline had fun opening her presents.
She loves monkeys!

So I made her a "Five Little Monkeys" cake
Daddy made the bed posts.

While the guys went to Black River.......

The Girls and I had fun playing with the horses.
We went to a birthday party. Charlotte had so much fun!
Farmer Grandma Pember came to visit.
(Returning our lawn mower)

The guys had a good time at Black River!
They were so proud of their fish......and they came back with lots of good stories about fishing and bears too.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Burgoyne!
We love you!
We are glad you are doing so well.

When it rains.....It poors!

I have been out of it for awhile because I did get my tonsils out! Can you believe I went through with it? One of the worst things I have ever gone through! The doctor still tells me it is worth it, after I heal. I wasn't able to take the pain meds because they made me so sick, so I have been without pain medicine......
Being wheeled out to the car, after the surgery....
I don't remember any of this, but I guess Loren took picures....
I was pretty out of it and in pain.

While I was in bed and
unable to take care of my family..........
~My cousin, Winston, got in a roll over accident on the way home from church with my son, Jon.
Pretty scary!!!!! They were wearing seatbelts. They made it out ok.
Amaron had just pulled the jeep back over on it's wheels when Loren took the picture.
He totaled his Jeep, but everyone was safe!
Then, poor little Caroline, curious and getting around everywhere,
took a tumble down the stairs.
(she was ok, no bumps or bruises)
But, another scare for mom!

Then, before that......
Charlotte was walking on the sidewalk with her walker and the wind
picked her up in a whirl wind and threw her into the road, right on her face.
(I didn't see it, so I first thought she got hit by a car.)
She was rushed to urgent care to check for concussion and
get her lip put back in place because her teeth went through her lip.
(After watching the Tooth Fairy-movie, she is excited about her loose tooth.)
Her whole body was pretty beat up, so they checked her all over
She is doing well, just healing.
(Blood covered her beautiful white dress)

Third trip to urgent care in one week, because mom is stuck in bed.

Now we know why we need moms!!!!

Kalicia was jumping on the trampoline with her cousins and she landed head first on the metal frame of the trampoline. Once again scared, blood everywhere, back to urgent care. They super glued her head back together. At this point the doctor said he was more worried about me because I was supposed to be in bed healing. He checked me over, got me hydrated and ordered me back to bed.

(The nurse told me when I feel better, take the white dress and other clothes covered in dry blood, soak in water, spray with hairspray and Peroxide and throw them in the Washing machine. I was too weak to try to scrub the blood out of the clothes hoping it would just come out. The clothes turned out as good as new! Hairspray and Peroxide work, even after it dried with no scrubbing!)

Wow, we all made it through the week alive! It was a scary week, but we are all alive!

(I couldn't have done it without my sisters and mom! I also got support from my friends.)

Thank you so much!

Just before the summer began.....

Our Butterflies were ready to fly away.......

They each had their own butterfly that they raised from a caterpillar and it was time to let it go and say goodbye.
