On our way to the.......
DIAMOND BACKS GAME!!!
We rode the light rail to the Diamond Backs game.

The girls have never been on a train,
so they thought this was one of the most exciting things ever!
It was fun riding with all our Aunts, Uncles, cousins and Grandparents on the train!

They were all amazingly cute!
They have been practicing this dance routine for months!
Charlotte and Kalicia got to dance with their
Dance Matrix Team
at the Diamond Backs game for the preshow.
Their whole dance routine was displayed on the Jumbo Tron (Big TV).
It was so fun and way too cute, a dream come true!
And they said Charlotte was never even supposed to crawl, she's DANCING!!!
Kalicia loves being the star and being with her friends!!!

They had so much fun with all their cousins!
Charlotte and Kalicia enjoyed all the yummy candy and goodies
while watching the Diamond Backs WIN!!!!
We were so excited for all the support from friends and family.
It sure made the girls feel so special!

Daddy is so proud of his girls!!!!
And look at all that candy!
Their Aunts brought them candy to tell them "Great Job!"
Charlotte and Kalicia thought they were in Heaven.
They got pretty dance necklaces from their Aunt Sierra.
Wow, they had no idea that they would get such special treatment.
(Aunt Satya snuck in homemade yummy cookies,
the guards felt guilty and didn't make her throw her hard work away, so funny!)
If you ask Austin,
he will tell you it was the best day of his life!
He caught a ball, a t-shirt and a towl!
Wow, how did he get so lucky with all the thousands of people!
Even Mary, Charlotte's therapist came. The Malands (Austin's grandparents) were there too!

Uncle Sparky!
Charlotte has made a new friend, Ember.
How exciting is it to find a friend just like her!
It was so fun to visit with Ember's Mom. We had so much to share and talk about. We couldn't believe how much our girls looked a like too! ~Beautiful Girls!

The girls loved meeting Bobbie Freeman, the Diamond Backs Organist!
That was so exciting! He was so friendly and even gave them an autograph.
What an exciting and eventful night after spending days in Phoenix for more Doctor appointments at St. Joseph's Hospital. It was a fabulous way to end the week!

School Begins!!!!
1st Day of school.......
Charlotte is in 1st Grade.
She was so excited and picked out a Tinkerbell lunch box. Her favorite color is now green (Tinkerbell green), after so many years of it being purple. It is so fun to watch her grow up and have so many opinions. She also decided she was a big girl and now uses her crutches at school and at church. We also moved her to Jefferson Academy in Showlow where she will have a better chance to succeed! They do wear uniforms, so no glitter and glamour. She is doing so well there. She loves it. We are so proud of her!
Mom is just having a hard time sending her off for the full day!
Charlotte got 100% on her spelling test. The teacher even said she was telling everyone what the next word was and cheering after writing down every word. The teacher got a good laugh out of that and asked how do we study at home. Woops...... We cheer after she writes every word! She is treated like an equal at this school. It was a tough, but good move to make for her. It was so great that she was given the chance to take a spelling test like the other kids and she did so awesome! She is coming along amazingly!!!!!
Our little excited Kalicia.....way too excited for preschool!
(Look at those neck muscles while she is smiling) She was thrilled!
I love her constant enthusiasm and her willingness to help. She is such a big helper.
I couldn't do it without her. She is truly a blessing.
My two handsome big boys, Austin and Jon.
I still can't believe I have teenagers! They are Juniors this year. Jon is taking college too right now and hoping to have his Associates when he graduates from High School. They are constantly reminding me in two years they will be going on a mission. Austin wants to go to Japan and serve the same mission I was called on. How exciting would that be!
To start the school year off right we had a big....
Summer Block Party!!!
Neighborhood kids came over before the party to make the pinata! What fun!

So many people came and we got to meet lots of new people!
Loren did a great job entertainging the kids!

Our kids loved it and made a lot of new friends! A lot of business was exchanged too! It was great to see the many wonderful people we have in our neighborhood. I think we have started a new tradition

Happy Birthday Grandma Pember!
(We went to Fiesta Mexicana for her birthday!)
~She was just a little surpised...... Ha Ha!
Happy Birthday Daddy (Loren)!!!!!
~35 yrs. old~
For his birthday we got up early to go to a reunion in Utah, but somehow for his birthday we always end up at a lake. Usually it is Roosevelt Lake, but Lake Powell just happened to be on the way! What fun! We arrived late at the lake. We stopped for a birthday dinner, at a restaurant on a boat. The girls thought it was so neat! Then instead of staying in a hotel, we bought a tent and set it up on the beach at 11:00 at night. We felt guilty when we had realized our kids thought a tent was an inside toy. So we thought it would be fun to do some real camping!

Kalicia begged her daddy to go fishing when we got there.
I don't think she had to push too hard.
They fished until about 2:00 in the morning and Kalicia caught a catfish! She was so proud of it, but refused to touch it. She laughed hystarically to keep from crying; she is still just a little scared of fish even though she loves to catch them. I don't think it helped that it was two in the morning!
The other two girls were asleep when we had put them to bed the night before, so they awoke to a wonderful surprise..... a huge blue lake in front of them with seaguls running around their tent! They were so amazed and full of excitement!!!

We spent the whole day at Lake Powell. Loren was up early that morning fishing too with Amaron and Grandpa Pember. I am pretty sure he pulled an all-nighter, fishing is that important! (I think he had a pretty good birthday!)
Kalicia loves the water. She is Daddy's fishing buddy!

Kalicia and Sage feeding the seaguls.
They loved playing on the beach and chasing the birds!

Each of the kids took turns getting pulled in the tube behind the boat!
What fun and my girls even did it by themselves.

Caroline just loved the sand!

Grandma and Grandpa Pember came too!
I think Grandpa was a little worn out from the early morning fishing.

Boat rides and just hangin' out on the beach......

Loren (Daddy) on a tube, with Uncle Amaron trying to throw him off!
It was a wild ride!

It was so nice to relax in the sun
and just enjoy my time with my family.
